One MBA student built this for their own classmates. It is not a company, it has no investors, and nobody is paid by it.
Why It Is Free
Because charging would make it a business, and a business is not what this is. There are no ads, no paid tier, no donations and no payment method is ever asked for. The domain and the database are a personal expense, the same category as a textbook.
What It Refuses to Do
- Invent anything. Every line traces to your file, your answer, or your approval.
- Store your resume file. It is read in your browser and dropped.
- Print a number it did not measure. Unmeasured rules are named, not counted.
- Claim an outcome. No score here predicts an interview or a job.
- Guess at spelling and grammar until it can do so without flagging company names.
The Rubric, in the Open
100 points across five dimensions, of which 53 can be measured without a job posting or a selected format. Your review adds the applicable job and format rules. Anything a rule cannot measure is named and excluded from both the score and the maximum.
- A. Parse and structure, 20 of 20 without a posting or format
- Can a parser read the file at all, and does it find your sections and dates.
- B. Bullet quality, 25 of 25 without a posting or format
- Strong verb, a number, three lines at most, a result and not only a task.
- C. Language, 6 of 15 without a posting or format
- Punctuation consistency, repeated words, no first person. Spelling and grammar are deliberately off.
- D. Job fit, 2 of 25 without a posting or format
- Most of it needs a job posting pasted in. Two points run without one: whether the skills you list are backed by a bullet.
- E. MBA readiness, 0 of 15 without a posting or format
- Format rules run when you choose Open Market or University. Rules that cannot be measured for a document remain excluded.
